Chad Egresi, MPA

Dean of Enrollment Management and Title IX Coordinator

Chad joined VUIM in March 2019, with over 10 years of experience in post-secondary higher education admissions, student affairs, and enrollment management. As the Dean of Enrollment Management, handling much of the day-to-day operations at VUIM, he is responsible for setting the strategic direction and providing a long-term vision for the Enrollment Management division, which includes Admissions, Financial Aid, Accessibility Services, and the Registrar.

Chad holds a Master of Public Administration from South University in Savannah, GA. He is also a graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor of Science in International Relations. Prior to VUIM, Chad led the divisions of admissions, student affairs, disability services, and financial aid at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). During that time, he oversaw a team that grew enrollment by more than 130%, helped support the efforts of Nutrition programs to become accredited by ACNPE, and revitalized the student affairs division.

Growing up in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York, he is the oldest of four children. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and camping with his wife, son, and two dogs. He has hiked over 400 miles of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Chad believes deeply in the value of higher education. “It is one of the few equalizing forces within our society, it can ultimately have a great impact on an individual’s personal and professional fulfillment, health, and socioeconomic status.”

There’s a moment that happens to almost everyone learning English. You’re in class, or maybe at work, or standing in line somewhere, and you know exactly what you want to say—but it gets stuck. Learning English isn’t really about memorizing vocabulary or passing tests. It’s about learning how to...
